Barbara Hulanicki, the original founder of the iconic 60s brand Biba, has joined forces with George at Asda to produce a low priced collection of Biba inspired fashion.
Biba was launched in 1964 on London’s King’s road by Barbara Hulanicki. Biba became famous for producing low priced versions of high street fashion such as the Mary Quant mini skirt.
The new collection for George at Asda is featured in Grazia and Vogue magazines. Barbara Hulanicki tells Vogue Magazine ” It’s like the old days in the sixties. I love seeing people happily shopping without feeling guilty because they’ve spent too much. I want to do what I always have done – make clothes for young people”.
